Before — the problem
A textile dyeing and finishing unit in Pandesara GIDC called us with a problem every Surat processor knows: an 18,000 sq.ft shed where jet-dyeing steam and 45°C summer truss heat made the stitching and inspection floor unbearable by mid-morning, and where their old galvanised exhaust fans had corroded through within two seasons because of the wet, acidic process air.
What Aruth installed
On the free on-site survey we measured a roof height of about 8 m and mapped where the steam was collecting over the dye house. Our recommendation was a combination: three 7.3 m HVLS fans over the open stitching and inspection floor to keep a steady breeze on the workers, plus six FRP corrosion-proof exhaust fans sized around 40,000 CFM total on the dye-house wall to physically pull the humid, acidic air out instead of letting it hang.
The result
After installation the floor ran noticeably cooler and drier, the steam haze cleared, and because the HVLS fans use IE5 gearless PMSM motors the unit replaced roughly 18 pedestal fans with far lower running cost, cutting fan-related power sharply. The FRP bodies do not corrode, so instead of a yearly replacement they are covered by our 2-year warranty.
