Jaipur summers are brutal in a way that decides which ventilation actually works here. Verified installCase study: a Sitapura gem-polishing hall beating 47C summer heat
Before — the problem
A gem-cutting and polishing unit in the Sitapura RIICO area called us at the peak of a Jaipur summer. Around 90 polishing benches sat across a 16,000 sq.ft hall with a low roof, and by mid-afternoon the floor was reading 46 to 47C while the city outside read 44C. They had 20 wall and pedestal fans running flat out, noisy, kicking up fine stone dust, and barely moving air where the polishers actually sat. Two workers had stepped off the line in the heat, and the dust was a constant complaint.
What Aruth installed
We surveyed the hall, ran the airflow numbers, and replaced all 20 fans with three 6.1 m gearless IE5 HVLS fans laid out to wash the whole floor with a steady 1.5 to 2 m/s breeze at bench height. For the electroplating line at the back of the unit, we fitted FRP corrosion-proof exhaust to pull the fumes straight out. Total connected load for the three HVLS fans came in well under what the 20 old fans had been drawing.
The result
The result: floor-level temperature dropped a felt 4 to 5C, the fine dust the old wall fans had been stirring up settled, and the noise came right down. On their long summer running hours the owner is looking at payback inside roughly two years on fan power alone, before counting the steadier shifts and cleaner air. Everything is covered by our 2-year warranty and serviced by our own team out of Ahmedabad.
