Over the open packing and storage floor we put up three 6.1 m gearless IE5 HVLS fans to wash the whole area with a steady 1.5 to 2 m/s breeze at working height. Because Tumakuru's plateau air is mild rather than bone-dry, we kept evaporative coolers for spot use at the dispatch dock rather than the main hall. Total connected load for the HVLS fans came in well under what the 16 old fans had been drawing.
The result
