HVLS, Exhaust & Cooling, across Kalaburagi (Gulbarga)
HVLS Fans, Exhaust Fans & Air Coolers in Kalaburagi (Gulbarga)
We are Aruth Ventilation Systems, an Ahmedabad-based manufacturer that supplies and installs HVLS exhaust fans and air coolers for Kalaburagi textile, dal-milling, cement and food-processing units, from the new KIADB Mega Textile Park to the pulse mills and cement plants around Gulbarga. Kalaburagi is one of Karnataka's hottest, driest districts, so we lead with HVLS fans for whole-floor air movement, evaporative coolers that genuinely work in this dry heat, and exhaust fans to pull out dust and trapped heat. With 230+ installations, gearless IE5 PMSM motors that cut up to 30% off conventional fan bills, and a 2-year warranty, we give you a free on-site survey anywhere in the district. Kalaburagi sits in the hottest belt of Karnataka, and that one fact decides most of the ventilation here. Summer floor temperatures in a tin-roof dal mill or a textile shed routinely climb past what a row of wall fans can handle, because those fans only push the same hot air around at head height. We have spent years on factory floors exactly like these across North Karnataka, and the lesson stays the same: in dry, baking heat the answer is moving large volumes of air across people with HVLS fans, adding evaporative coolers where the air is dry enough for them to bite, and using exhaust to physically drag heat and dust out of the building.
The good news for Kalaburagi is the climate works in your favour for cooling. Unlike humid coastal Mangaluru, the air here is hot AND dry for most of the year, so evaporative coolers actually perform. A cooler that barely moves the needle on the coast can drop the air several degrees in a Gulbarga shed, because dry air has plenty of room to take up moisture. That makes the practical mix here HVLS fans for steady whole-floor comfort, evaporative coolers for spot relief at fixed workstations and packing lines, and exhaust fans for dust-heavy and heat-heavy areas.
The industry mix here is changing fast. Kalaburagi has long been the pulses capital of Karnataka, with hundreds of dal mills and food-processing units, alongside a strong cement belt feeding off the local limestone, plus growing solar. On top of that, the new Kalaburagi Mega Textile Park under KIADB is bringing large garment and textile sheds into the district, and those big open floors are exactly where HVLS fans earn their keep. Each of these, the dal mills, the cement plants, the textile sheds, needs a slightly different mix of HVLS, coolers and exhaust.
We are based in Ahmedabad, but we supply and install all over India, and Karnataka is one of our regular states. Our own team handles the survey, fabrication, installation and after-sales, you are not handed to a local dealer. Wherever you are in the district, from the Mega Textile Park to a pulse mill on the Humnabad road, the first step is the same: a free on-site survey, an airflow calculation and a written quote, with no obligation.

Kalaburagi Mega Textile Park (KIADB)
Textiles, garments & food processing (emerging KIADB mega park)Kalaburagi's flagship new industrial address, a KIADB mega textile park drawing in large garment, spinning and textile units along with food-processing plants. These are big, open, high-roof sheds in one of Karnataka's hottest zones, so they are textbook HVLS territory: a few 6.1 m or 7.3 m gearless fans wash the whole floor with a steady, lint-free breeze far more cheaply than banks of wall fans, with evaporative coolers for the dry-heat spot relief and exhaust to clear lint and trapped roof heat.
How to choose: HVLS vs coolers vs exhaust for a Kalaburagi factory
The short answer for Kalaburagi: HVLS fans for whole-floor comfort over large open sheds, evaporative coolers for dry-heat spot relief at fixed workstations, and exhaust fans to physically pull out dust and trapped heat. Most Gulbarga plants we fit end up with a combination, because the loads stack. A dal mill, for example, needs exhaust to clear husk dust AND HVLS to keep the milling and packing floor workable through a 42 C afternoon.
One point specific to Kalaburagi: because the district is hot and dry, not humid, evaporative air coolers work well here, unlike on the Karnataka coast. Dry air has plenty of capacity to take up moisture, so a cooler can drop the temperature several degrees at a packing bench or a QC line where people stand all shift. We still lead with HVLS for the big picture, because one 7.3 m gearless fan moves a gentle 1 to 2 m/s breeze across up to about 20,000 sq.ft and feels 3 to 5 C cooler across the whole floor, which a row of coolers cannot match. Then, where the problem is something you must get out of the building, husk and grain dust in a dal mill, cement and limestone dust, heat under a textile roof, you add exhaust sized to physically clear it.
Why Kalaburagi factories switch to gearless HVLS
The number that moves Kalaburagi plant owners is the power bill. Our HVLS fans run on IE5 gearless PMSM motors, so a single 7.3 m fan covers up to about 20,000 sq.ft and replaces 15 to 20 conventional wall or pedestal fans that together draw far more power and cool far less. Across our installs that works out to up to 30% lower fan-related power consumption, with typical payback inside 18 to 30 months depending on running hours. In Kalaburagi, where the heat runs long and hard for much of the year and sheds need cooling almost every working day, that payback often comes faster than in milder parts of Karnataka.
Gearless also means almost no maintenance, there is no gearbox to leak oil onto your stock or seize up in dusty dal-mill and cement air. That matters a lot here, where husk and grain dust get into everything. Add the 2-year warranty and the maths gets straightforward. We run the actual numbers for your shed during the free survey: floor area, roof height, headcount and your current fan count and tariff, then show you the kW saved and the payback in months before you commit to anything.
Ahmedabad manufacturer, full service across Kalaburagi
We manufacture our own fans, which is the practical advantage for a Kalaburagi plant: factory pricing, custom sizes fabricated in-house, short lead times, spares on the shelf, and our own engineers, not a third-party dealer, handling the survey, install and after-sales. Our workshop is at GF-001 Mauryansh Elanza, Shyamal Cross Rd, Satellite, Ahmedabad 380015, and Karnataka is a regular state for our team, so a Kalaburagi job is routine work, not an out-of-area exception.
We supply and install across Kalaburagi and the wider Gulbarga district, from the KIADB Mega Textile Park to the dal mills, cement plants and food units around the city and out towards Humnabad, Sedam and Aland. The free on-site survey is genuinely free and genuinely useful: an experienced engineer on your floor, measuring your area, roof height and heat and dust load, then giving you an honest layout and a written quote. Whether you are a single pulse mill or a large textile shed in the new park, you deal with one team for survey, fabrication, installation and AMC.
From the field
Verified installCase study: a Kalaburagi dal mill cools and de-dusts its milling floor
Before — the problem
A dal mill on the outskirts of Kalaburagi, processing tur and other pulses through the long Gulbarga summer, called us with a problem we see across North Karnataka's pulse belt. Their 16,000 sq.ft tin-roof shed baked under the afternoon sun while husk and grain dust hung in the air over the milling and grading lines. A row of pedestal fans just blew hot, dusty air around at head height, and the packing crew at the far end were the worst off.
What Aruth installed
We did a free on-site survey, measured a roof height of about 8 m, and mapped where the husk dust was collecting over the cleaning and milling sections. Because Kalaburagi is dry, not humid, we could use the full toolkit. Our recommendation was a combination: two 7.3 m HVLS fans over the open milling and grading floor to wash the whole space with a steady breeze, three industrial wall exhaust fans on the dustier wall to physically pull husk dust and trapped heat out, and two evaporative air coolers at the packing benches where the crew stand all shift.
The result
After installation the floor ran noticeably cooler, the dust haze over the milling line cleared, and the packing crew finally had usable spot relief from the coolers, which work well in Kalaburagi's dry air. Because the HVLS fans use IE5 gearless PMSM motors, the mill replaced roughly 16 pedestal fans with far lower running cost, and on its long Kalaburagi running hours the owner is looking at payback inside roughly two years on fan power alone. The fans carry our 2-year warranty, and our own team handled survey, fabrication and installation end to end.
