Verified installCase study: a Satara MIDC forging and machining unit cuts press-floor heat and smoke
Before — the problem
A forging and machining unit in the Satara MIDC Jaitapur belt came to us with a familiar two-part problem: a 22,000 sq.ft shed where the forging presses and heat-treatment furnaces pushed floor temperature 5-6 degrees C above the 41 degrees C outdoor reading by mid-morning, while furnace smoke and machining oil mist hung in the air with nowhere to go.
What Aruth installed
We sent our team in for a free on-site survey, measured a roof height of about 9 m, and mapped where the heat and smoke were collecting over the press line. Our recommendation was a combination: three 7.3 m HVLS fans over the open machining and assembly floor to create a steady breeze and pull the comfort up, plus six high-CFM industrial exhaust fans on the furnace and forging wall, sized around 40,000-plus CFM total, to physically extract the smoke and furnace gas instead of letting it linger.
The result
After installation the press floor ran noticeably cooler and the smoke haze cleared by the furnace bay. Because the HVLS fans use IE5 gearless PMSM motors, the unit replaced roughly 18 pedestal fans with far lower running cost, and fan-related power dropped sharply versus the old setup. Everything is covered by our 2-year warranty.
