Verified installCase study: an Ambernath MIDC fabrication and chemical-handling shed clears its fumes and heat
Before — the problem
An engineering and fabrication unit in Ambernath MIDC, doing heavy welding alongside a chemical-handling area, came to us with a familiar Thane-belt problem: a 22,000 sq.ft shed where weld heat, grinding dust, acid mist and coastal humidity combined into thick, heavy air that workers struggled with by mid-morning, and where their old galvanised exhaust fans had rusted through within about a year.
What Aruth installed
We did a free on-site survey on a scheduled visit, measured a roof height of about 8 m, and mapped where the weld smoke and acid mist were collecting. Our recommendation was a combination: three 7.3 m HVLS fans over the open fabrication floor to de-stratify and move air across the whole shed, plus FRP corrosion-proof wall exhaust fans (sized around 40,000 CFM total) on the weld and chemical-handling wall to physically pull the heat, smoke and acid mist out instead of letting it hang under the roof and corrode the building.
The result
After installation the floor ran noticeably cooler and less muggy, the welding haze and acid mist cleared, and the FRP exhaust will not rust like the old steel fans did. Because the HVLS fans use IE5 gearless PMSM motors, the unit replaced roughly 18 pedestal fans with far lower running cost, with fan-related power dropping sharply. Every fan carries our 2-year warranty, and our team handled survey, fabrication and installation as one job.
